How to draft them:

Now that you have your Terms of Business document open, you will need to draft them for the appropriate client. Follow the steps below:

  • Your Terms of Business should look like the below:

The information that will need changing is highlighted in the document (pages 1 and 10), as you can see below:

  • The information you will need for page 1 are the following:
  • Company name (as stated on companies house e.g. Tezlom Limited)
  • Company number
  • Trading name of the company (e.g. Tezlom)
  • Trading address (this is their head office address)
  • The information you will need to amend on page 10 depends on the terms you have agreed with the client. Below is an example:

  • You will then need to save this to your computer so you can attach it to an email at a later date. (For example, you could create a new folder titled ‘Terms of Business’, then save each document with their own company name such as ‘Tezlom Permanent Terms of Business’)
  • Please note – ALWAYS send Terms of Business in PDF format

As soon as you click ‘Export’ you can then save this as a PDF.

Save the document as ‘Tezlom Permanent Terms of Business – [INSERT CLIENT NAME]’

You have now drafted a Terms of Business
