Setting up an interview with a candidate:

Once you have contacted the candidate and asked for their availability, you will likely receive a response from the candidate with a suitable time to call (see below image).

You have now been given the candidates availability. You will respond with the time you are available to call and wait for a response.

Once you have received a response and the interview has been arranged, you will need to set a reminder in your outlook diary for the interview and also add the candidates details onto your google sheet.

Setting a reminder on Outlook Diary:

Open outlook emails and click on the calendar image circled below. It will take you to a page similar to the below.

You now need to click on ‘New appointment’

You will then be presented with the below page. You need to complete the following:

  1. Title (this will be the candidates name followed by ‘interview’)
  2. The date of the interview
  3. The time of the interview

Once you have done this, click ‘save & continue’

This will now appear in your outlook diary (see below) and will remind you of the upcoming interview 15 minutes before it is due to take place.
