Check in with the candidate and keeping the client up to date

 

  • To keep the process as plain sailing as possible, and to ensure you have done all you can to ensure the candidate turns up for the interview, you will want to check in with the candidate the day before the interview, and on the day of the interview. Just to make sure everything is okay and that they will be attending the interview
  • You should also update the client on the status of the candidate.
    • If you have heard back from the candidate and they have confirmed they will be attending the interview, you will need to email the client and let them know that the candidate has confirmed this.
    • If you are unable to get into contact with the candidate, they aren’t answering your messages/calls, you will want to email the client and let them know that you have been unable to contact the candidate to confirm whether or not they will be attending the interview.
